Sales Representative Job Description
We are always looking for exceptional people who share our love for the customers we serve, the merchandise we sell, and the work we do!
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized service to groups with participants of all ages, ranging from youth groups and high schools to colleges, universities, and all-star programs
- Effectively promote Varsity products through a consultative based selling approach
- Develop new prospects along with interacting with existing customers to increase sales
- Meet & exceed assigned territory sales goal
- Travel to schools and organizations within territory to conduct sizing appointments
- Assist with summer camp recruitment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, education or related field preferred
- Strong planning and developed analytical skills for business growth
- Self motivation and discipline to succeed in a competitive industry
- Strong time management skills
- High energy level and professional appearance
- Strong desire and ability to serve customers and solve problems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers
- Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office software
